About the role
Build and improve machine learning models to detect account compromise, and distinguish attacker activity from legitimate user behavior. Own the end-to-end research and production pipeline, from data collection and feature engineering through model deployment and maintenance, while accounting for production latency. Candidates need at least four years of quantitative research experience at a top hedge fund or proprietary trading firm, strong statistical, linear algebra, and anomaly detection fundamentals, and experience shipping machine learning models to production. A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative field is required; Python, SQL, and Git are also required, while a master's or PhD and mid-frequency equities alternative-data experience are advantages.
