About the role
Collect, organize, and analyze financial statement data for traditional banks and non-bank financial institutions, including institutions that become banks. Track acquisition trends and compare business models, funding sources, and expense structures, then prepare research summaries, charts, and briefing materials to support policy analysis. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program and expect to graduate in December 2027 or later. Required preparation includes coursework in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and accounting, along with financial statement analysis and proficiency in Excel and data analysis; Python or R experience is also sought.
