About the role
Build and maintain a production forecasting engine that generates probabilistic forecasts for electricity prices, generation, and consumption, combining weather, satellite, and asset data while modeling dependencies across time periods. Monitor data and model performance, evaluate forecasts against market outcomes with portfolio colleagues, and improve forecasting systems through testing, drift detection, and retraining. Requires a quantitative master's degree or PhD and three to five years of experience building and maintaining forecasting models in production. Candidates should have strong expertise in time series and probabilistic forecasting, Python and MLOps; professional-level Dutch is required, while electricity-market modeling and stochastic optimization experience are strong advantages.
